Modern Energy Cooking Services, East Africa & South Asia (ongoing)

Kikenni Consulting is providing technical assistance to a project promoting electric cooking known as ACUASA – ‘Accelerating eCooking Uptake in Africa and South Asia’. The project is managed by Loughborough University (UK) under the Modern Energy Cooking Services (MECS) consortium. Based on independent financial and carbon modelling, ACUASA aims to make a business case for the inclusion of eCooking within two major World Bank programmes: ASCENT in East Africa and IGP-HF in South Asia. Working through the NIRAS Group, our role at Kikenni is to support project coordination, technical validation and quality control on all published reports and supporting data produced by the project’s implementing partners.
